Mailstream White Paper

Aquarius Advisers researched the Mailstream market and developed a white paper explaining its broad significance in language Pitney Bowes’ customers could understand.

Corporate Repositioning
and Message Alignment

Pitney Bowes had invested half a billion dollars in acquisitions of software and technology companies repositioning it as a leader in the digitization of office documents, physical mail and messaging. It had targeted a new market identified as the “Mailstream” – all the data, software, hardware and services that annually move more than 500 billion packages and pieces of mail around the world, along with countless billions more electronic documents.

But the venerable 87-year-old company still was known mainly as a maker of postage meters. It needed to clarify its Mailstream story around a specific set of messages that all its business units could internalize and propagate. Aquarius Advisers developed a white paper, entitled Toward an Optimized Mailstream, became a focal point and source of messaging for integrated communications across the company to customers, employees and investors.

We have taken on numerous other initiatives for Pitney Bowes ranging from messaging for its corporate web site to positioning and message alignment for its largest business units.
